We are a growing private investment company focused on allocating capital in the restaurant, retail, and other essential-goods industries through a variety of investment vehicles. We believe in a people-first mindset and work with our team to build a company we can all be proud of.
So far, we’ve made investments in both operating businesses and real estate in six different US states. Through active management of all of our assets, we hope to achieve superior risk-adjusted returns for our investors and our employees.

Team Bio
Baljinnyam (Balji) Dashdorj
Balji is Managing Partner and CEO of Hungry Pig Capital Group. Prior to founding Hungry Pig Capital Group, Balji spent six years with Four Corners Property Trust (NYSE: FCPT), most recently as Vice President of Acquisitions, where he had responsibilities in deal sourcing, closing transactions, and managing net-leased assets around the country, especially nationally-branded restaurants. Balji has an MBA from Georgetown University and a BA from Stanford University, and when he’s not underwriting new opportunities, he’s most likely reading interesting non-fiction or eating something unhealthy.
Timothy (Tim) Lewis
Tim is Managing Partner and CFO of Hungry Pig Capital Group. Prior to joining Hungry Pig, Tim spent nearly seven years with M&T Bank (NYSE: MTB), most recently as a Senior Vice President in the Commercial Bank and a subject-matter expert for affordable housing construction loans after years of originating loans, building and managing a loan portfolio, structuring complex workouts, and creating a mentorship program for junior bankers. He also has experience negotiating leases for federal tenants and underwriting various debt instruments. Tim has an MBA from Georgetown University and a BBA from Howard University, the real HU, and enjoys playing competitive board games with his family.
Theresa Lanzi
Theresa is Vice President of Operations at Hungry Pig Capital Group and has over 30 years of leadership experience in the restaurant industry. Before joining Hungry Pig, she was Director of Operations at Taco Bell, overseeing six Area Coaches and 35 locations. Theresa is known for driving excellence through strategic planning, strong execution, and a people-first leadership style. Her leadership has been key to new store openings, system optimization, and navigating operational challenges. She consistently improves performance, exceeds customer expectations, and builds high-performing teams. Outside of work, Theresa is a foodie who enjoys discovering new restaurants, relaxing at the beach, and snorkeling in the Caribbean.
Christie Lightfritz
Christie is the HR Director at Hungry Pig Capital Group and has deep experience in the restaurant industry. Before joining Hungry Pig, she was an HR Business Partner overseeing over 100 locations for both Taco Bell and 7 Brew Coffee brands. Christie is known for transforming operations into engines of culture and connection and combines strategic insight with people-first leadership to build trust, inspire teams, and drive impact. An Ohio native, she holds an MBA from Malone University and a BS from The Ohio State University. Outside of work, Christie enjoys cooking, time with family and her two dogs, and home remodeling.
Sophie Wallace
Sophie Wallace is an Investment Analyst at Hungry Pig Capital Group, where she evaluates and analyzes potential real estate investments across the firm’s target markets. In her role, Sophie conducts detailed financial analyses and identifies opportunities that align with the company’s strategic objectives. Born and raised in Ohio, Sophie earned her Bachelor of Arts and Science degree from Miami University. She brings a strong analytical foundation and attention to detail to every project she undertakes. Outside of work, Sophie enjoys spending time with her family and friends and baking a variety of desserts and breads to share.
